I guess the problem with Tulum was that there was not much tramping, most of the ruins were roped off.Sun-Linghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14698854617881648602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20810230.post-57961619746478630672012-12-05T17:29:42.855-05:002012-12-05T17:29:42.855-05:00Thanks WQ and Kathy for your "impressions of ...Thanks WQ and Kathy for your "impressions of Tulum" which illustrates that tramping around in ruins is a varied, personal, experience.johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16229963702961511828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20810230.post-62403266439386207612012-12-03T09:21:33.761-05:002012-12-03T09:21:33.761-05:00Tulum was the 1st Maya ruining we saw. so it was m...Tulum was the 1st Maya ruining we saw. so it was memorable for us. in comparison, it clearly shows decline in size and style during the later Mayan period. --weiqingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20810230.post-47544371546131213212012-12-02T09:47:00.339-05:002012-12-02T09:47:00.339-05:00I saw Tulum on my one brief visit to Mexico back a...I saw Tulum on my one brief visit to Mexico back around 1986, on a day trip from Cozumel (the island was a lot quieter back then). Clearly an over-reaction....Kathyhttp://mytimetotravel.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20810230.post-309648732634363022012-12-01T08:54:21.118-05:002012-12-01T08:54:21.118-05:00Thanks Ed!Thanks Ed!johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16229963702961511828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20810230.post-50866595644448158592012-11-30T09:40:21.296-05:002012-11-30T09:40:21.296-05:00You've done your homework again, Sun Ling. Chasing on GM, Quintana Roo appears to have a hotel in the middle of the ruin, I suppose this is a mapping error. A great kickoff for your tour.Crash Eddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01347819537922992042noreply@blogger.com
