Arrival in Yokohama, Japan

We are on the road again to Asia. This trip is built around my family reunion in Shanghai between Christmas and New Year. Victim to the poor Sino-US relation of late, airfare to Shanghai is twice as much as to Tokyo. Since the last time we were in Tokyo was 2006, it seemed a return visit was in order.

American Airlines flies to Haneda Airport which is between Tokyo and Yokohama, the second largest city in Japan, reason enough to check it out. What we didn't expect was to see fall foliage and holiday illuminations simultaneously in the second week of December. It seems wrong to have climate change work in our favor.

Glad to hear that you arrived and are settling. That is interesting that fall foliage is still present.
