Yokohama by Night

Japan appears to embrace winter festive illuminations leading up to the New Year celebrations. We embarked on a pilgrimage between Chinatown, Minatomirai 21, and Yokohama Station. The weekend brought warm weather and a festive mood, but unfortunately, we were navigating it with jetlag.

The light show and decorations are impressive. I especially like the the glass cube that is illuminated. Sorry to hear that you have jet lag.

The cube is actually made of scaffolding, covered in woven nylon sackcloth! What an awesome design! Here is a day photo.

Unfortunately the older I get, the worse jet lags have become.
