Trip planning status
We are flying from Shanghai to Kunming, China on 1/1/2008 since the train takes 42.5 hours. We'll get our visas from the Burmese consulate in Kunming. We plan to spend January in Burma, February in Laos, back into Yunnan, China in March. In late May we will return briefly to Shanghai before flying back to Raleigh.
