Wow - amazing what you can miss by not watching TV! Glad you're both safe in Columbia (who'd have thought you could say that a few years back?) - a quick check on the BBC web site suggests it MIGHT blow over in a few days. Good luck!drigh
The borders have been reopened again. I just hope that Ecuador stabilizes soon. People need to learn to get along and be civilized, so us travelers can get around safely and happily :)
